Delta Dental improves oral health by fostering public-private partnerships benefiting those in need of oral health care. We cover more than 2 million covered Medicaid lives through nine managed care organizations.
We partner with Medicare advantage plans, plus Healthy Kids Dental that supports Michigan children under age 21 who have Medicaid, and healthy Michigan Plan and Pregnant Women Dental to support those who don’t qualify for Medicaid or Medicare.
What we know
More than 90 percent of the reasons Medicaid patients cite for avoiding the dentist fall into three focus areas.
